"The Climate Change Convention will be the last before the Kyoto Protocol officially takes effect in February. The environmental community is still glowing from the recent decision by Russia to ratify the Kyoto Protocol which made it legally binding. The convention's Executive Secretary, Joke Waller-Hunter of the Netherlands, addressed the convention Monday and congratulated delegates for their achievements."Perhaps they should reconsider the choice of Executive Secretary. Didn't anyone think that someone with that first name may not be the best spokesperson for a questionable cause?
