This link will take you to the ACTUAL CIA report that has been cited by numerous "news" outlets and by the Presidential challengers as "definitive evidence" that George Bush was wrong and lied about WMDs in Iraq and the threat that Saddam Hussein (or is it Husayn now?) posed to the U.S. and the rest of the world.
I suggest that you read some of the actual text yourself and make up your own mind. It is not a small report, but at least read the Key Findings section. It is clear that editorial writers with an agenda were able to search and find key words and phrases that make their case. However, I think it's equally clear that the overall main point of this report is that Saddam Hussein had, at one time, not only the capability to produce WMDs, but produced and used them. In addition, he fully intended to return to production once the UN sanctions were lifted because he recognized the power they provided him. It also demonstrates the inadequacy and failure of the UN in their effort to control the threat posed by Husayn.
