There is just so much to say about the UN, but so little that matters. This is an organization that has effectively neutered itself through ineffectivenss over the years. This article, from the WSJ effectively chronicles the performance - or lack thereof. I've read numerous opinions and articles in the last year or so that highlight the missteps - especially the Food for Oil disaster. The UN can't even make those that support them happy. In this case, even when they criticize the Bush Administration, the timing is wrong.

right then.. lets fight a global war on terror ignoring the UN!!!!!!!! forget about the rest of the world.... lets go it alone.. heck, lets spend a couple 100 billion more on another war and then we'll be sure NOT to have any money for seniors ;i saw your other post about not knowing what kerry will do about medicare... you may be right on that or wrong but what we do know is that under Bush our government is spending its people into financial oblivion (debt) through the magic republican formula of tax cuts (keeps the WSJ on your side btw) and spending increases!!!!!!!! yah, thats bound to work.. and pigs can fly....
